NBA Is Back!! The Season Starts On Christmas…
The rollercoaster ride that is the NBA lockout continued on Friday.
Since the labour imbroglio began on July 1, there have been moments of optimism and just as many periods of despair.
Negotiators for the NBA and its players convened at noon and went on late into the evening in the hopes of reaching an agreement that would get the season started in time for Christmas Day.
It is believed the turnaround time from a deal to regular season games being played is around 30 days.
Looks like those child support payments will be getting paid this year, the owners and players have reached a tentative agreement to end the 149-day lock out and it’s just in time for the holidays.
The two sides agreed upon a 51/49 split of all basketball-related income in favor of the league and the 66 game schedule is set to begin December 25th.
